- Plato College is a Coeducational Private School located in the heart of Montreal. It is more internationally oriented in its matriculation than most Canadian colleges. Academic quality in Modern Languages runs high.
In curriculum, Plato College offers a rigorous linguistic education of a traditional cast, with emphasis on learning to express oneself orally and on paper. With about 350 students and 25 professors, College Platon is a small, friendly and caring school. Plato’s students follow a standard language curriculum focusing mostly on grammar, conversation and written exercises, tailored to some extent to their individual talents and ambitions. Plato offers a remedial tutorial program for students with learning disabilities. Students in the program participate in the regular curriculum, but receive one-on-one remedial help with specialists every day.
Canadian schools are so diverse that the word “unique” may not mean much, but there really is no other to describe Plato College. Three factors in particular set this school apart, established in 1957:
1)Students may be taught from their mother tongue.
2)Unusual emphasis is put on grammar and oral expression.
3)And finally, if you don’t like the idea of high tuition fees, College Platon is a simple solution.
