1. A Brief Background About Nepal
Nepal is landlocked country in South Asia with a population of approximately 30 million and an area of 1, 47,181sq.km. About 83% of its area is covered by the mountains and hills. And only 17% of the area lies in the plains. It is surrounded by People’s Republic of China in the North and India in the South, East and West. Nepal is the home of Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, and is also the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha.
The primary and secondary level of literacy rate is between 50 and 55%. Only 10 to 15 percent of the population has obtained advanced degrees (Bachelors and Masters Degrees) from Nepal and other countries. And a very nominal percentage of people have obtained their Ph.D. degree. Due to lack of subject choices and other factors Nepalese students are travelling abroad for further studies.

Informatics Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., located at Ramshahpath-31, Putalisadak, House No 432, Kathmandu, Nepal was established as a government-registered organization in 2007 A.D with an objective to assist students from across Nepal to pursue their higher studies in different countries all over the world, with the hope that they'll utilize their gained skill and knowledge to enhance Nepal's development in different field.
Initially, it was in service with the company named as Institute of Information Technology (IIT) since 2000 which was renamed as Informatics in 2007.In this regard we have been offering the services for educational counseling and English language test preparation classes for the last eighteen years. our productive affiliation with several universities and our efforts have brought us in an excellent position to proclaim ourselves as one of the leading Educational Consultancies in the country.
It has been an active member of Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN). It has been helping many students to look out suitable opportunities outside Nepal to boost up their studies. Whether it is for short term courses or high-level degrees, it works as a guide to choose for the best option to pursue their higher studies.
