In response to the demand for professional advise and placement of genuine Gambian students into Universities and Colleges abroad, Study Abroad Group (SAG) was established here in The Gambia in 1998, as the first and only Educational Consultancy company here in The Gambia. Our objectives includes to give Gambian students, that wish to further their education abroad, unbiased and professional advise and guidance on how to go through the usually complex application  process. We also give free career and educational counselling to all students that walk into our offices.

We have since counselled and placed 1000s of West African students into British, American, Canadian and Asian Universities and Colleges. SAG is licensed and registered in The Gambia and operates as an educational placement agency and provider of education related consultancy services to everyone in the West African sub-region. SAG also works with both governmental and non governmental organizations here in the Gambia towards the provision of high quality educations to Gambian students. The majority of our student are placed on university foundation courses, foundation access and A' level courses. SAG works closely with various High and Junior high schools as academic and career counsellors.

With the growing need for international education from our students in this part of the world and the increasing demand for high quality international students from our partners, we are taking our modus operandi into a whole new level, which includes the running of language courses and a few university access programs here in The Gambia which will serve as a consistent feeder of high quality students to all out institutional partners around the world. We are, therefore, looking at forming more strong links and collaboration with other institutional partners abroad to run part of their courses locally, specifically Graduate courses.

In conclusion SAG adheres strictly to the following business principles. We are striving to make a massive contribution to the economic and Educational development of The Gambia by forming various collaborations between stakeholders in The Gambia and our institutional partners. We want to encourage exchange programs for students between these countries and The Gambia and also to operate professionally in a performance oriented culture and be committed to the continuous improvement of our services for the benefit of all Students at the same pleasing out partners.
