- TutorYou was established initially as a Tutoring company for the IB and IGCSE and now also supports international and Italian students during the University application process, as a UCAS Registered Centre. TutorYou’s philosophy is ‘Students Helping Students’ as we strongly believe in peer to peer relations.
We support students through the application process for university, starting from an initial meeting where we assess their requirements. We then help them to chose the right university and course as well as helping to gather documents for the application process and offering help with their personal statement and motivation letter. This is where our philosophy is important, as we put students in touch with one of our tutors who is currently studying the subject they are interested in. We currently have around 280 tutors, all former IB or IGCSE students now studying in the most prestigious universities across the world.
We have also created a Global Students Network; this is a community of university students around the world, creating a strong link between the continents. By keeping in touch, members of the network are able to communicate across diverse Countries and Universities. The Global Network is also useful for High School students who are unsure about their future. Whether they have any questions or doubts about certain universities, or whether they want to visit some, they will be able to get in direct contact with a student from the university they are interested in and eventually meet him/her directly on campus if they wish with guided university visits.
We are proud that TutorYou, which Alessia Cremona began only four years ago, has grown so rapidly in a short space of time and we would like to emphasise that our student counselling is a personalised service, tailored to the needs of each individual student.
