Background Information
Established in 2001 "CITY EDUCATION CONSULTANTS" currently grants counseling and the preparation classes in different fields of study. The place is Nepal's one of the leading counseling spots and a unique amongst the educational institutions in the capital city, Kathmandu. It was founded by Mr. Arun Lamichhane in his sole ownership. This company does not have any other shareholders up to date.

The main services of the company are:
Giving preparation classes for TOEFL/IELTS/SAT/GRE/GMAT, Giving group and intensive English Language Preparation Classes, Counseling for the students for the students willing to study abroad especially U.S.A. AUSTRALIA, U.K, CANADA, SINGAPORE, NEWZEALAND and few other EUROPEAN COUNTRIES.

We are proud to announce that our company is ETS (Education Testing Service, U.S.A.) authorized company to deliver TOFEL IBT test in Nepal. We do conduct the TOFEL test at our center.
CITY EDUCATION has recruited well experienced staff for its counseling division. Most of them are Australia or U.S. graduates who can take up the jobs in an efficient way.

The company has two receptionists, five counselors and two administrative staff. There are altogether 9 people working for this company.

Mission statement
Our company is committed to provide quality counseling for Nepalese students who are interested to go abroad to pursue their further study. Moreover, this company is also well equipped with the necessary infrastructures and the skilled manpower for the preparation of TOFEL, IELTS, SAT, GRE, GMAT which are the mandatory tests to be taken before stepping towards the abroad study. Our company has stance that it always carry over the business in its ethical standard. As mentioned earlier, its main services are providing the preparation classes and counseling about Universities and colleges including the accommodation and the adjustment with the host culture as well. Our company recruits the students all over the world however, the most students are recruited in Australia, U.S.A. and the U.K.

Our Company is the member of Education Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN). This association has over 300 member consultancies. I am also proud to let you know that I, Arun Lamichhane, is the chief advisor of this association.
