The San Domenico School, located on 515-acres in San Anselmo, CA was founded in 1850, and is the oldest independent school in California. Our location 26 miles from San Francisco, makes us the closest independent, co-ed day/boarding school to San Francisco. Our K-12 population is 680 students. Our HS population is 320 students made up of students from the local SF Bay Area, throughout the US and around the world.

At San Domenico we believe that an outstanding college preparatory education, combining both exceptional academics with a focus on values and character, creates not just great students but great people.
