Company Profile: Kent College is an independent co-educational day and boarding school, situated in the historic city of Canterbury. The Channel ports and tunnel are half an hour away and there is easy motorway access to London's airports.

The school currently has some 470 pupils, of whom approximately 33% are boarders from 44 different countries. At the school's International Study Centre; specialist tuition is given to pupils whose spoken and written English needs enhancement prior to integration into the main-stream curriculum.

There are five boarding houses, 3 for boys and two for girls, and the school has invested heavily in recent years to ensure that all boarding accommodation is bright, modern and attractive.

Kent College is part of a group of Methodist schools and welcomes pupils of all faiths, and none. Its Christian heritage continues to influence all the school's policies and activities. It has a reputation as a particularly friendly and welcoming school, with a strong pastoral support system that ensures that all students have the opportunity to develop to their full potential.

The school's academic record is excellent with a 100% pass rate in 2013 A Level examination and 70% of those passes at grade A*-B. This year’s IB results maintains Kent College’s position in the top 10 UK schools, with an average point score of 37.3. Most students gained places at their first choice universities including Oxford, Cambridge, medicine and students with scholarships to music conservatories. Kent College offers the International Baccalaureate and pre IB course alongside A Levels (including Foundation A Levels) and GCSEs.
