- Divan Student Travel was founded in 1992 by Mr. Kamal Wajih Hijazi, one of Jordan’s first exchange students in 1967. Kamal was part of a high school exchange program where he spent one year in Kenosha, Wisconsin in the United States. After his year of high school abroad, Kamal returned to Jordan and later returned to the United Stated to study at the University of San Jose in California where he completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering. Kamal’s experiences as an exchange student at both the high school and university levels inspired him to start a company in the Middle East that would provide young Arab students with the same opportunity to experience the cultural exchange and learning experiences that had changed his life.
Divan Student Travel is the expert on student exchange programs in the Middle East. The company was established in 1992 in Amman, Jordan and now has offices in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. The company has been enhancing students’ educational experience, cultural exchange and practical training all over the world for nearly two decades. Divan Student Travel offers various programs such as Work & Travel, Summer Camps, High Schools Exchange, Internships and Language Programs. The company has affiliations with International Universities in the United States, Canada, England, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, France, and Spain. Throughout the Middle East, Divan Student Travel reaches some 300 Universities and over 1500,000 students.

I have looked at your website and would like to ask whether you offer destinations in Asia, like China.
I am an Account Manager in Beijing International Education Center OULU. The company is a representative of several education institutions of Beijing in student recruitment overseas.
