- Alton College is a very successful 6th Form College in the UK, about an hour by train from London to the north and Portsmouth to the south, near Winchester. We teach 16-19 year olds a wide range of level three subjects at A level and BTEC. The vast majority of our students progress to universities all over the UK, and nearly one in five to a prestigious Russell Group institution. Our International Students stay with local families in Homestay accommodation. Our College is particularly strong for Maths/Sciences/Engineering/Art subjects.
