Founded in 1898 and located on a 208 acre campus in the heart of the state of Maine, Husson University offers a quality education that integrates learning with practice. Our focus is on preparing students for professional careers in a global market place. With only 3,000 students and small class sizes, we are a place where professors know their students by name and diversity is celebrated. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, each of Husson's academic programs meets the requirements of its respective accrediting board.

Husson offers degrees in Bachelors, Masters, PhD and Professional majors that include Business Administration, Accounting, Hospitality and Tourism Chemistry, Biology, Environmental and Forensic Science, Legal Studies, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Computer Systems. Our New England School of Communications offers Audio Engineering, Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, and Web Media.

Our English Language Institute allows students to receive conditional admission to degree programs and TOEFL or IELTS may be waived.

More than 40 clubs and organizations provide opportunities for every interest. 17 Division III athletic teams, intramural sports, and a well equipped athletic complex. Five minutes from campus, the small safe city of Bangor has great restaurants, shops and theaters. Bangor International Airport is an easy four kilometers away.

Husson also offers English pathways and ESL programming, partnering with Bridge English right on campus. Striving to remain affordable to international students, we offer 3 levels of renewable merit scholarships, between $1,000 and $10,000. Husson is one of the most modestly priced private universities in New England.
